A stage for young voices in Tamil
For more than two decades, the Tamil Language and Cultural Society has organised Bharathiyar Vizha to nurture spoken Tamil, lifelong learning and positive values in the next generation.

How are students registered?+
Registration is coordinated through participating schools and Tamil teachers. Parents should contact their child’s school or Tamil teacher for assistance.
Where can teachers read the competition rules?+
The invitation sent to schools contains the rules for all nine categories. Teachers should read the relevant category rules before registering students.
What if a school has not received the invitation?+
Ask the school to check its Inbox and Spam or Junk folder. The organising team can forward the invitation to a current official school or Tamil teacher email address.
Can international-school students participate?+
Schools may contact the organising team with the student level and an official school or teacher email so eligibility and registration support can be confirmed.
